I need reviews on 3 cue sticks?

Question by rockyd70094: I need reviews on 3 cue sticks?
Well I been wanting a new pool stick for 10 years. The best I got was a players cue. Put a good tip on it and been using it forever. But I’m looking for a stick that feels like a extension of my arm. The one stick that feels right. After thinking I might as well get something beautiful too since ill probally never buy another one for 10 yrs and will pass it down to the kids later. So after looking around I found the GB-8. The remake of the balabushka by the adam cue company. Sold by fast larry guninger. It looks ok. But he says he uses it on tour. The best stick he has ever used. He also juices it up. Shaves the shaft to 11.5 adds shock protectors, puts a lepro hard tip one and a list of other things. Sounds awesome but I’m also wary he’s trying to make a sale. So after looking some more I found 3 sticks that I think are beautful. I will post the 3 links and see if anyone can tell me if the money they cost is because they look nice or because of the look and quality and playabilty. Here they are

I have an uncle who uses a schon and it’s one of my favorite cues that i have ever used. I know that he has been playing pool for about twenty plus years now and it’s his favorite. Another brand that i would suggest trying out would be Joss. They also make a really nice cue with a great feel too it.

Does anyone know where I can find a pool cue like this?

Question by Elon: Does anyone know where I can find a pool cue like this?
I am looking for something like a Balabushka with veneered rosewood points on a white maple forearm, a light beige wrap with dark brown spots, and stainless steel joint with rings on the collars.

I would prefer something made in the U.S.A. with high quality and priced at around $ 300. Anyone know of a brand that makes a cue like this? I’ve thought about getting a Viking Cue, but their designs are too modern for me. I’d like something like a Balabushka style, like I mentioned earlier.

You can get a replica nowadays from $ 200 to $ 600. Very nice cues. An original, if you can find it will be at least $ 10,000.

I copied this from a cue site:

Known as the highest quality cue, Balabushka cues represent the pinnacle of prestige in the world of pool cues and billiards. Original Balabushka cues are extremely rare and can only be found through collectors and auctions. Typically, an original Balabushka cue will sell in the tens of thousands of dollars.

George Balabushka died in 1975, but the cues continue to live on. Balabushka cues were re-introduced in the 1980′s with the permission and license by the family of the late George Balabushka. These Balabushka replicas continue to be in high demand by players and collectors alike.
