Q&A: Which Martial Arts?

Question by Confessions: Which Martial Arts?
I want to get into a martial art for a number of reason – I enjoy oriental culture (especially Japan’s culture). I also would like to get into shape, Im a little overweight and believe it would help me feel better about my self-image. I also would like to have an outlet for relaxing, and stress releif, also to have a hobby. And having it for sparing matches with my friends wouldn’t be so bad either. I would like to have a martial arts that focuses on kicks, locks, and some weapons like a staff and swords. Which is best for me?

First of all the martial arts are not a hobby or craft but a way of life. You could get all banged up and get nothing out of it if you cannot defend yourself in a street fight.

May be you should take up GO or SHOGI or study Japanese?

I’m pretty sure they were just infantry. The chinese did have the Chu no Kun or something like that. They used crossbows and were of a different era I think.

Magical exemplar x2
Old vindictive magician x2
crystal seer
apprentice magician x2

magical dimension x3
heavy storm
smut

enemy controller
lightning vortex

i put exiled force in there because of the summoner, I just noticed, there’s no good level 4 monsters in the structure deck for summoner to special summon, if i take it out, i would put the royal magical library in

Q&A: my husbands passion is killing me?

Question by handgel1: my husbands passion is killing me?
My husband is totally obsessed with Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong basically anything oriental. He collects the films reads the books searches the internet. is learning the language, if its oriental he buys it basically. He also thinks the women are beautiful. Girls with swords and guns are his favourite. Its an everyday thing he cannot go a day without it. He is desperate to visit Hong Kong I am not. I got rid of our internet because he spent all day on it looking at Japanese/Korean websites (not rude) while I was at work. Its making me ill. I have told him all this, we just have rows. He tells me he loves me and I beleive him but I know I will lose him because I cannot love his passion too. We have been together for 20 years and he does have an addictive personality. I see oriental people in the street and I don’t like them. I feel as though I am hating a nation because he is so besotted with it. If it was just a hobby I guess I wouldn’t feel like this. I being silly?

im copying Helion; first one to tell me the artist of this song gets 10 points.?

Question by Sgt. Pepper: im copying Helion; first one to tell me the artist of this song gets 10 points.?
When the sun comes up on a sleepy little town
Down around San Antone
And the folks are risin’ for another day
‘Round about their homes

The people of the town are strange
And they’re proud of where they came
Well, you’re talkin’ ’bout China Grove
Oh, China Grove

Well, the preacher and the teacher
Lord, they’re a caution
They are the talk of the town
When the gossip gets to flyin’
And they ain’t lyin’
When the sun goes fallin’ down

They say that the father’s insane
And dear Missus Perkin’s again
We’re talkin’ ’bout the China Grove
Oh, China Grove

But every day there’s a new thing comin’
The ways of an oriental view
The sheriff and his buddies
With their samurai swords
You can even hear the music at night

And though it’s a part of the Lone Star State
People don’t seem to care
They just keep on lookin’ to the East

Talkin’ ’bout the China Grove
Oh, China Grove
